Constantly checking social media websites such as twitter, pinterest, facebook and posting a ton of pictures on instagram is annoying within itself.
While it’s okay to check these websites every so often, it is not your life and there’s nothing more annoying to a guy than a woman who is always on her cell phone.
Drew Johnson has learned that when it comes to asking a woman out, texting beats calling every time."Most of the girls I've hung out with lately prefer a group activity rather than one-on-one," says Johnson, 30, a mechanical engineer from West Chicago, Ill., who plays bass in a band.
"From my observations, the response rate on, 'Do you want to go for dinner or meet for a drink?
Not since the dawn of the automobile has a technology — the cellphone — so swiftly and radically changed the way people interact, meet and move forward (or not) in a relationship.
While I think having chats at the dinner table is still impolite, I do think checking to see who is calling or reading a text is acceptable if you're trying to make plans with other couples or if you're calling to check in with the babysitter, but taking it any further is still a no-no in my book.
However, if you're on a blind date and you think there's a chance you'll need to make a quick escape, by all means keep that phone on the table for your "emergency call" from your best friend!
In a world where technology practically runs our entire planet, there’s no question that a cell phone is a woman’s best friend.
But sometimes it can be more than a best friend, it can be an outlet to get away from the real world and soon thereafter can become a bad habit.
